Sue’s experience and special touch brings a depth of understanding
of people, together with a sound grasp of business and organizational
issues. Her appreciation of typical current leadership pressures
and the realities of how managers learn and change, inform her
leadership development and coaching work. Sue’s career began
with a series of management and marketing roles with ICI for a
number of years and subsequently as a management consultant working
mainly with SMEs in the marketing services sector helping them
with staff recruitment and mentoring Directors on developing their
business.
For the last 20 years Sue has worked mainly at senior and middle
levels of management as a coach and
management consultant. She has worked extensively
with managers on the typical leadership challenges they face.
For example taking a more strategic perspective and setting strategic
direction, motivating and engaging a team, influencing and managing
key stakeholder relationships, developing a personal leadership
style and approach that is authentic, whilst achieving challenging
organizational objectives.
Sue gained her MSc in Change Agent Skills and strategies at University
of Surrey in 2007. She is BPS Level B qualified and is qualified
to use a range of psychometrics including the MBTI (Steps I and
II), FIRO, 16PF, Hogan and WAVE. She is also an Accredited Coach
with the Association of Professional Executive Coaching and Supervision
(APECS) and a Certified Management Consultant with the Institute
of Consulting (IC).
